![]() She "talked story" after breakfast and welcomed us every time we returned to the common area. Hannah made it a personal priority to ensure our happy stay at the Plantation and in the Kona area. We felt like prized guests from the moment we arrived. More than any of this was the general feeling of warmth conveyed by Hannah. We even have great photographs of us pushing one another on the tree swing, Pacific Ocean in the background. ![]() The snorkel equipment and beach chairs represented a savings and convenience as well. For example, the yoga mats saved me from having to go find a yoga studio while on vacation. What makes this a great B and B are all the little touches. The afternoon snacks were equally delightful.our first experience with breadfruit arrived in the form of a pudding and was such a surprise. Best yet, we enjoyed breakfast either on the stunning Lanai (with ocean view) or in the cozy common room (filled with Hawaiiana). The fruit felt exotic (dragonfruit, rambutan, etc.) and gave us a great opportunity to try new produce. My wife doesn't even like pancakes, but she went back for seconds of Hannah's banana-macadamia-coconut pancakes. Speaking of being well-fed, other reviews highlight the amazing breakfasts. She made sure that we were fed (even offering snacks upon our evening arrival) and giving us her personal phone number should any problems occur in the evening. Our comfort and safety were the top priorities for Hannah, the lovely innkeeper. ![]() While I could write a lengthy review detailing every spectacular detail, I will focus on areas not extensively covered by other reviewers. Simply put, this is the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in. I am writing this review knowing full well that my wife (who doesn't believe in sharing our travel secrets) is going to kill me. ![]()
